May 2021 Blog Circle | Movement

This month for our film blog circle, we chose the theme “Movement.” There was a lot of movement in my life this month. The movement between seasons, the movement of the raining blossoms, the movement of my daughters in their dance recital, the movement of my mind as it refused to settle on anything, and the movement between having all four of my children living at home to only three. I didn’t focus on any one technique, and instead, allowed myself to embrace all the movement in all the ways I felt it. I used slow shutter, camera movement, doubles, implied movement, and just subject matter.
