Picture Day FAQs
How does this work?
We come to your Kids and Co center and take photos during school (registration is required). Fall photos are outside with whatever natural backdrops we can find. We move around, play and have fun, and the kids love it! Spring photos are on a black backdrop and have more of a studio look, which really helps their personalities shine through. A trusted staff member is usually around to help the kids feel comfortable.
After the pictures are edited and uploaded, you will be sent a link to a gallery where you can view and order your portraits! No purchase is required in advance. Each student will have 5-10 unique photos in a personal gallery. Spring portraits on the backdrop will be delivered in color and black and white.
What should my child wear?
Fall photos are outside in the morning, which means it can sometimes be chilly! Make sure they dress for the weather. We will get close ups and head-to-toe photos, so pay attention to shoes too.
Spring photos are inside with a black background to complement all skin tones and outfits, and will be mostly chest and up, so a head-to-toe look is less important. You may want to avoid black, neon, or shirts with large graphics or logos which can be cut off or distracting in the portraits.
Does your child have a favorite stuffed animal or toy? They are welcome in the photos too! More than anything, we want them to be themselves.
When can I expect to see my photos?
I do all photo selection and editing by hand (no weird AI edits here), which means it will take a little while to get your photos ready to order. Expect the gallery to be up and ready for orders about 4 weeks after picture day.
How do I order?
You will receive email and/or text notification when your photos are ready to view, with a direct link to your child’s gallery where you can order prints or digital portraits.
If you have more than one child or sibling photos, you will be able to link to all their galleries from the same page. You can add digitals or prints of all your children into the same cart and just check out once. There are discounts on sibling galleries, so remember to use the provided discount codes to get the best deals! (Keep reading for details.)
Prints are sent for free to your Kids and Co center in bulk shipment, or you can choose to ship them directly to your house for a shipping fee. Digital portraits are immediately sent to your email inbox via download link, and can be shared online, sent to family members, or printed as much as you’d like.
How can I help my nervous child prepare for pictures?

When is my picture day?
Monday, September 14
POST PICTURE DAY INFO
TO ORDER:
Watch for an email with a link to your gallery or galleries.
Open a gallery, then either:
Select "Download All My Photos" to purchase all the digitals at once, or
Click into any photo and hit "BUY" to order prints or individual digitals.
Select "Continue shopping" to keep adding prints or digitals from that same gallery.
Have another child? Open the "Menu" drop-down in the top right corner and click "Galleries" to switch to their gallery, then repeat the steps above.
Once everything is in your cart, go to Cart to check out—you can check out once for all children.
Don't forget to use the FAMILY DISCOUNT CODES (below) for major discounts on full digital albums.

SHIPPING and PRINT INFORMATION:
For the best prices and free shipping, order before November 15! After the deadline, you will still be able to order prints and digitals for at least one year.
BULK SHIP PRINTS WILL BE DELIVERED to your Kids and co front desk by NOVEMBER 19.
Digital files should be delivered automatically to your email inbox directly after ordering. For printing, I recommend using Pro Digital Photos in Pleasant Grove (www.prodigitalphotos.com) or mpix.com online to print your photos rather than using budget labs like Costco or Walmart.

PLEASE NOTE that I am a one-person small business. I take the time, energy, and financial risk to take these photos each year because I love serving the community and providing high quality portraits for an affordable price. I do not receive any money unless parents order their photos, so I am invested in getting the best portraits possible and keeping prices as low as I can. I always try my best, along with Kids and Co staff, to make your children feel comfortable, to smile naturally, and to have fun taking these pictures, but of course, with these little ones, we are not always successful. You are not required to purchase, but unfortunately, there are no retakes.
PLEASE do not screenshot your photos or use family discounts with anyone besides immediate family members. This is considered theft, and may severely impact whether or not I continue this service. I would love to keep taking portraits at Kids and Co for years to come! Thank you so much for signing up!
