How does this work?

These aren’t your typical school photos! Each child gets a mini professional photo session designed to capture natural, genuine expressions. We always prioritize getting at least one classic “yearbook” picture, but after that, we want to have fun and show off their personality. WE DO NOT USE FLASH for the portraits, but we do have continuous lights, which can be adjusted for your child’s comfort.

After the pictures are edited and uploaded, you will be sent a link to a gallery where you can view and order your portraits! No purchase is required in advance. Each student will have 5-10 unique photos in a personal gallery delivered in color and black and white. You can choose high-quality digital images that are perfect for prints, gifts, and canvases, or easily order prints that ship for free to the school, or choose to have them sent directly to you.

What should my child wear?

The photos are on a black background to complement all skin tones and outfits, and will be mostly chest and up. Avoid black, neon, or shirts with large graphics or logos which can be cut off or distracting in the portraits.

Does your child have a favorite stuffed animal or toy? They are welcome in the photos too! More than anything, we want them to be themselves and feel comfortable during pictures.

When can I expect to see my photos?

I do all photo selection and editing by hand (no weird AI edits here), which means it will take a little while to get your photos ready to order. Expect the gallery to be up and ready for orders about 4 weeks after picture day.

How do I order?

You will receive an email from the school when your photos are ready to view, with a direct link to your school’s gallery where you can order prints or digital portraits. You will put in your student’s full name and Spectrum ID number and you will be taken right to their private gallery!

If you have more than one student in the school, you will be able to link to all their galleries from the same page. You can add digitals or prints of all your children into the same cart and just check out once. There are discounts on sibling galleries, so remember to use the provided discount codes to get the best deals! (Keep reading for details.)

Prints are sent for free to your school in bulk shipment, or you can choose to ship them directly to your home for a shipping fee. Digital portraits are immediately sent to your email inbox via download link, and can be shared online, sent to family members, or printed as much as you’d like.

POST PICTURE DAY INFO

TO ORDER:

• Watch for an email with a link to your gallery.

• Look up your student’s gallery with their name and ID number, then either:

  • Select "Download All My Photos" to purchase all the digitals at once, or

  • Click into any photo and hit "BUY" to order prints or individual digitals.

• Select "Continue shopping" to keep adding prints or digitals from that same gallery.

• Have another child? Go back to the original link to the gallery and repeat the steps for the next student to add their photos into the same cart.

  • Did you subscribe to the gallery in advance? You can open the "Menu" drop-down in the top right corner and click "Galleries" to switch to another gallery, then repeat the steps above.

• Once everything is in your cart, go to Cart to check out—you can check out once for all children.

• Don't forget to use the FAMILY DISCOUNT CODES (below) for major discounts on full digital albums.

ALL BULK SHIP PRINT ORDERS ARE DUE BY October 26 at MIDNIGHT.
DIGITAL ORDERS will RISE IN PRICE after the October 26 deadline.

Bulk Print orders will be delivered to your school by November 2. They are packaged with sturdy cardboard backing, and will be sent home in backpacks.
